Biteabout Arts

Anna Turnbull

Anna is connected to and inspired by the beautiful rural north Northumberland landscape in which she lives and works. Referencing the wildlife, the organic forms, the rich colours and textures of nature; sustainably growing and using a variety of naturally coloured willows; driven by a passion for her materials and a need to create, she designs and makes beautiful sculptures, baskets, felt vessels and garments.

Anna has degree in Fine Art and for many years, followed her own creative journey whilst teaching. She set up Biteabout Arts in 2011, to work as a self-employed fibre artist creating art works for sale, offering a bespoke service and teaching others how to work with these materials.
